Shortlist Studio stores only what is needed to provide résumé tailoring, editing, exports, account access and billing.
Who operates this service
Shortlist Studio is owned and operated by KARTIK MODI. Privacy requests can be raised through the support controls available inside Shortlist Studio.
Information we store
Your email, account profile, signup country, uploaded résumé file, structured résumé data, job descriptions you submit, generated résumés, usage records and subscription status. We derive the signup country from the network address, then store the country code and a one-way salted network-address hash rather than the raw address.
Google sign-in
When you continue with Google, we receive your verified email address, Google account identifier, display name and profile image. We use this information only to create, secure and display your Shortlist Studio account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
How information is used
We use your information to operate the product, generate requested résumé content, prevent abuse, maintain sessions, select the locally available payment provider and price, process payments and provide support. Résumé content may be sent to the configured AI provider solely to perform the feature you request.
Service telemetry
We record requested paths, response status, response time, referral host, coarse country, browser identifier and a one-way salted hash of the network address. A first-party, HTTP-only visitor identifier lets us count unique anonymous and signed-in visitors without storing a raw network address or using third-party advertising trackers. This operational telemetry is used for traffic measurement, reliability, fraud prevention and support and is retained for a limited period.
Sharing, payments and retention
We use infrastructure, AI, coarse IP-location and payment providers necessary to operate the service. Cashfree Payments processes eligible Indian payments and Stripe processes eligible international subscriptions; Shortlist Studio does not store full card or UPI credentials. We do not sell your personal information. Account and résumé data is retained while your account is active or as required for security, billing and legal obligations.
